Layne Riggs, the son of former NASCAR driver Scott Riggs, has fond childhood memories of being at NASCAR racetracks, although he was more interested in playing and didn’t fully understand the sport at the time. As Layne grew older, his interest in racing developed, and his father has been closely involved in his driving career, rarely missing his races. Now, Layne has signed a multiyear deal with Front Row Motorsports to drive the No. 38 Ford F-150 in the Craftsman Truck Series, marking his first full-time opportunity in a NASCAR national series. He feels relieved and excited about this chance, as it has been a long journey to reach this level, and he hopes to make everyone proud and prove himself. Layne’s racing career started at a young age and has seen success in various series, including winning the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series championship in 2022. Front Row Motorsports approached Layne about driving the truck towards the end of the 2023 season, and he eagerly accepted the offer.
